Interview With our star Silvia Peeva

In Year of the Women Baksetball in Europe, in Bulgaria become traditional team CSKA.  Targets of club`s people, coaches and players are too high. Because of that, from champion team Lukoil Neftohimic first one decided to sign national player SILVIA PEEVA. She got a hard one injury last season. She returned back on court to CSKA and national teams. May be for that, Peeva said, that the most important wins are over injuries.

As a part of champion team, younger player has had an experience of champions same as Slavia and Lukoil Neftohimic. This is the reason every team to want her same as most valuable player. The Head coach of national team Petko Marinov giving her a place into qualify games this year. 1st round.

Silvia Peeva is born at Sofia at 1979, August 27th.
She is 172 Cm.

* According to you, Silvia, is it well fact that CSKA return at scene at Year of the Women Basketball in Europe?

Peeva: Various is nothing. Sponsor of the team, Mr. Cohen, have too serious targets. Ambitious of his are too big, as same as mine. I hope everything goes well!

*You are too ambitious! Do you think that you and team will grow up in Europe competitions?

Peeva: Yes. I hope. Too long time Bulgarian team don`t grew up. I hope we can do this!

*As One of The Best National Player some years, according to you, what can you and teammates making for most positive actions for the Women Basketball?

Peeva: Everything depends on us. We can past Eurocup 1st round at condition 1st. After that we can speak about return on the scene. I hope this year our Championship will be strongest than last. Bulgarian women basketball at past was great so we can be motivate more than every time.

*Your`s Idol from Bulgarian Basketball is Olimpic player NADKA GOLTCHEVA, your coach of first ?

Peeva: Yes! I want to said her thanks! She is played at Olimpic games two times. She rich bronze medal at Montreal /Canada`76/ and silver at Moskow /Russia`80/.

*You play as same as guard position one. Do you have some favorites, as same as this position?

Peeva: Michel Times, the Australian guard is my favorite.

*Your dream is…

Peeva: Connected with job – I want to play basketball, why not at Final 4 in Eurocup.

*You closed one bad year, stay out of the court. What do you do?

Peeva: Injury was hard problem for me. I was finding a power to close this page. When you do this, passed bad time, you get better. Now I am strong. And still live for basketball. For me this is most important thing.

*You got a few Gold medals with Slavia and Lukoil Neftohimic? Also you got National Cup.  Do you have any secret key for success?

Peeva: Much work and passion. When I rest, I do something at hall.
